Indonesia Mission

“For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.” Romans 12:4-5

Four of us had the privilege of being the missions team on the ground in Indonesia this summer.

Every member brought their God given gifts and talents and used them to bless the church in Indonesia.

Did we all preach – technically no, but we all had a message of testimony to share with the believers and the testimonies tied in with the ‘now’ word of God was being preached in a particular meeting.

Did we all teach the Hope School children games in PE lessons? No, but we all taught them kiwi matching card games during recreation time after school.

Did we all get to minister to every single person who sought the Lord’s ministry into their lives?  No, but we all ministered to the believers and everyone who needed the hand of God to minister to them received from the Lord, and the Lord used us all to bless the people of God.

Just as most of you were the missions team here, at home, supporting the team on the ground through your prayers, or providing finance, or other practical support.  We all contributed in some way in impacting the lives of the believers in Indonesia.

So whether it is missions or outliving your Christian life, we are all part of His body.  It doesn’t matter if you think it is big or small or if it’s public or private.  We are a part of His body and if we all do our part then the body of Christ can truly be the hope of the world.
