Isaiah 43:18-19 ESV “Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”
A new year has begun and God is doing a new thing, because simply put, that is what He does.
God is doing a new thing
2 Corinthians 5:17 says He makes us a new creation and Lamentations 3:22-23 says that His mercies are new every morning.
How incredible is it that we have a God that refreshes, revitalises, renews, redeems and restores.
No matter how your year has started, God’s got you.

If you are feeling exhausted and dry, know that God refreshes (Isaiah 44:3). If you are worried about the future, know that God provides according to His riches (Philippians 4:19), and he owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), yes friends that means our father God is rich and can handle any possible need you might have.
If you are feeling as though something needs to shift in your life, know that you serve a God who not only moves mountains, but says that with faith as small as a mustard seed you can move mountains (Matthew 17:20).
You have everything you need to face this year, to grow, to succeed, all with the knowledge that God is ready to do a new thing!
