I love the letter Paul wrote to the church in Ephesus. In my mind it powerfully presents a picture of the unified, glorified family who are passionately and powerfully committed to the presentation of heaven to their environment.
Paul encourages us; “God’s purpose in all this was to use the church to display his wisdom in its rich variety to all the unseen rulers and authorities in the heavenly places. This was his eternal plan, which he carried out through Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Eph 3:10-11)
How are we to live as the unified church? I think the early church is our best example.
I recently read this article and I think it will help us to further explore how we might live a life worthy of our calling (4:1), united in the Spirit (4:3), fitting together perfectly (4:16).
