Wooden Trees
What is Wooden Trees?
Wooden Trees is a project presented by the Te Awamutu Business Chamber and ZION to foster relationships within our community and bring some beauty to our CBD during the festive season by providing wooden trees to local schools for them to decorate. These trees are then distributed to local ‘adoptive’ businesses who display them in front of their stores in our Te Awamutu CBD.

When and where can I find the Wooden Trees?
The Tree Awamutu Christmas Tree Trail will have trees out for viewing throughout the Te Awamutu CBD over the month of December. Find your tree by visiting out adoptive businesses, and don’t forget to pop in to say hello and to see if they have!
What does the Wooden Trees cost?
Thanks to the hard work of the Department of Corrections to prepare the trees for our local schools, the creative efforts of the local schools, and the care provided by local businesses Wooden Trees is FREE!
