Zion Kids

A fun, safe and faith-filled place for our tamariki and rangatahi, every Sunday during term time.

About

Sprouts · under 2s

A space for babies and toddlers. There is a parents’ room where little ones can play and rest while staying with you, with a screen so you can still follow along with the Sunday message.

Ferns · 2 to 6 years

A fun, caring space for our youngest tamariki, with activities pitched just for them. It runs during term time while you enjoy the service.

Kids · 6 years and up

An interactive programme with activities, teaching and plenty of connection, in a safe space, while you are in the service.

Youth · 13 and up

A place for our rangatahi to feel included, valued and challenged, with teaching, discussion and activities, and room to build real friendships and grow in their faith. Each term there are also a couple of youth events outside of Sunday, from low-key hang-outs to bigger trips.

Our leaders are supported by a team of volunteers from across our church family who give their time to care for your children.

Keeping your tamariki safe

Your children’s safety matters to us. All our kids and youth leaders and volunteers are police-vetted and follow our Child Wellbeing and Safety policy, in line with the Children’s Act 2014.

Before your first visit

The first time your child or teen comes along, we will ask you to fill in a quick registration form. It covers contact and emergency details, anything we should know about their health or wellbeing, and who is allowed to collect them. You can fill out this form so you are all ready for Sunday by clicking the link at the top of this page that says “Register your Kids” Our kids and youth also help set the tikanga for the space, so it stays a safe and happy place for everyone.
