INDONESIAN PASTORS
Ari and Dina are a young couple who lead an apostolic church community in a rural location in Northern Sumatra, Indonesia. They are married and have young children, and are very committed to seeing the church work extend in their region.
This couple graduated from the Apostolic Bible School we support and have been working as school teachers in a location called Jurong. During the week they run an after-school program with local village children, helping them with their education and teaching them Bible lessons.
Connecting with local families is a common way to grow a local church in Indonesia, and we would like to partner with this growing church community.
INVITATION
In small churches in Indonesia, it is very common to see groups meeting in the Pastors home, which has a large room to accommodate worship and meals. Often, these groups sit on a concrete floor for several hours many times each week!
The Elders of ZION have agreed to commit $10,000 toward the cost of building the home for Ari, Dina, and their children.
We would like to raise an additional $5,000 from ZION family who are willing to partner in this project. We will challenge the Indonesian church and community to raise the additional funds to complete the building.
There will be an opportunity to visit this church in the first half of 2024. Who’s keen?
