God's Prophetic Voice Brings Life.

God’s Prophetic Voice Brings Life

God spoke and the heavens and earth were created (Gen 1:6-8).  Worlds and lifeform take shape as the voice of God is projected into a void (Gen 1:9-13).  What does this mean?  Inviting God’s voice into an empty space is a great way to see new life form!  (see Ezek 37:4-6, John 11:43-44)

I have found this to be particularly powerful in my life as I desire to see new life form in partnership with God.  This is not a cliché; this is the way we were designed to live!  Take Adam, for instance (Gen 2:19-20).  God spoke and the animal kingdom was formed, and then God brought the animals before Adam and he named them.  This is prophetic partnership in its finest demonstration.

What might this look like for your life?  I’m speaking to those of you who might feel like there is a “void” in your life – an empty space that you want to see filled with the life God brings.  When life feels like there is a “hole”, sometimes it feels confusing, disappointing, or like a puzzle.  But hear the word of the Lord:

“The puzzle is coming together!”

I sense the Lord speaking to us and He is saying, “The puzzle is coming together,” and this flows in four parts.

A) PREPARATION

The Lord would remind us all that He is at work behind the scenes.  While you may not see it or sense it in a tangible way, be confident that God is faithful and active in your world – He is faithful to those things He has prepared for us.  (see Deut 8:1-5, Jer 1:12)

B) PROMISES

Be reminded, people of ZION, God has given us good promises.  The best thing you can do to lift your soul and spirit in hope is remind yourself what God has already said.  Here’s a clue:  you can find God’s promises for your life all through scripture!  (see Ps 119:105, Jn 8:12, 2 Cor 1:20-22)

C) PROGRESS

Let us be confident (in God) that He is leading us and therefore we can be sure that when we stay in step with Him, movement leads to momentum, and momentum with God is progress!  Do not assess your progress by your natural sight, but instead by your connection with (I like to encourage myself with Romans 8, especially Rom 8:18-39)

I would add here, for your personal benefit, that progress with God always requires your partnership by way of participation!  Step into life with God and take a risk in Him and you will see your life progress in line with the promises of God.  If you don’t partner, you don’t get to see… Selah.

D) POSSESS

When God gives a promise He is giving a mandate to walk in the fullness of life He has prepared.  This means we can actively and faithfully apprehend the life He has prepared (Josh 1:7-11).  Do not be passive in your walk to partner in the participation of possessing the promises of God in your life.

As you spend time in conversation with God, He will speak to you and lead you.  As you agree with God, (by praying “on earth as it is in heaven”), I believe you will see your prophetic voice bring new life to your world.
