Intimacy With God – Session 1
We are designed to experience the closeness of an intimate relationship with God. At the very core of our identity is a design to worship Him and be in His presence as we were created by Him and for Him.
In this four part series we look at how we can develop a deeper intimacy with God.
INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILITY
(a) Intimacy is what we were created for: It is your identity and
purpose and is how we access God’s promises
BARRIERS TO INTIMACY
(b) What are those internal barriers that keep us from intimacy and
how do we isolate and remove the power of external barriers
ABIDING WIITH HIM
(c) Jesus desires us to be connected and fruitful
STAYING THE COURSE
(d) We must mature from babies on milk to adults who consume
meat.
To achieve greater levels of personal intimacy with God we must establish disciplines in our lives that keep us connected to Him.
Our desire is that you understand who you and who’s you are and the barriers that try to stop you from having an authentic intimate relationship with God
