AMORITES
The Amorites were a nation who lived in the hills in elevated areas. Their name means “high ones”.
What does this look like in your life? This looks like:
- pride
- arrogance
- inability to see personal weakness
To overcome the Amorites and remove the power of pride from our lives we can Repent, Remove and Replace. We repent to turn away from wrong thinking and false belief, we ask God to remove by His Holy Spirit and we replace with God’s Truth as found in scripture. This can be accessed by seeking humility, which only comes by humbling ourselves before God and asking Him to change our hearts.

For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you
PRAYER
Here is a prayer that will help you to move into freedom from the weakness of the past life;
Prayer Guide: Holy Spirit, would you prompt and guide my heart and my mind as I walk daily in the promises Father God has for me, would you remind me of the overwhelming and all-consuming grace that saved me. I pray for eyes and ears to see and hear people the way you do, that you would allow me to share in the extension of grace and forgiveness that I have received, that I may love people fully and unconditionally always with a heart to serve and never to gain.
