Hey, ZION, it’s Phil Brown here and I’m standing beside the Mangapiko Stream, and this stream significant to us and our current journey because just recently we have crossed over, we’ve crossed over from our old building on Racecourse Road to our new building on Churchill St.
Three years ago, God spoke to us regarding that move and he said this to us from Joshua Chapter 3. Then Joshua told the people purify yourself for tomorrow the Lord will do great wonders among you. And when God first gave us that word, we didn’t know where we were going or what it was gonna look like, we just knew that it was to do with our transition out of our old building into where we are now and that God has opened the door for us to be in this new place, and there’s many things he did along the way to enable it.
But look at this, purify yourself for tomorrow the Lord will do great wonders among you, and as we’ve moved to this new building, we really believe that there’s a new season that we’re in now, that the old things we used to do, well that’s no more, that there’s a move of God coming, and a move among the people, and already we’re getting new people coming into us. We’re getting, there’s just a different feel, there’s a different atmosphere.
But are you expectant? Are you expectant for God to move, because we believe that in this new season that there’s a real call that as we take our steps, as we step out in faith, that we expect to see God to move as we do so. So that’s part of this new season, it’s part of the great things among us that we’re going to see is God moving among us.
But do you know what? For the people to cross over the Jordan, they had to take the steps, just like we’ve had to take steps to be in the new building. But for everything that God’s calling us to do, yes he’s going to come in and he’s going to do great things, but we do have to take those first steps, because when the priest stepped and the river it dried up.
So, what’s God calling you to do? What are the steps he’s asking you to do? So, if you don’t know, well then you need to seek him and pray, or if there’s something burning on your heart, ohh, I wish something would happen. I wish God would do this.
Well maybe he’s calling upon you to take that first step, and as you do, there is a promise here, purify yourself, for tomorrow God will do great things among you.
Guys we’re in that tomorrow, we’re in the day where God said he’s gonna do great things. So do you believe it? I do. I know already there’s a shift in the atmosphere, that God is working in Zion, he’s working in Te Awamutu, hallelujah, bless your heaps.
